Daebie Kim
김대비(b.1994)는 새, 물고기, 구멍(보이드) 등 상징적 모티프를 통해 존재의 출현과 소멸, 그 경계에서의 긴장을 회화적으로 시각화한다. 그의 작품 속 존재들은 눈과 꽃, 중심을 향해 몰려드는 시선과 몸짓으로 공간을 가로지르며 해방과 구속 사이에서 끊임없이 방향을 제시한다. 단순한 구도적 장치를 넘어, 화면 내 존재들이 스스로 시선을 생성하고 응시하는 주체로 전환되며, 몸과 시선, 감각과 방향이 얽히는 복잡한 관계를 탐색하고 존재 인식의 방식을 재구성하려는 시도를 이어가고 있다. 미국 캘리포니아대학교 로스앤젤레스캠퍼스(UCLA)에서 순수미술 및 미술사를 전공했다.
